Finally, have the season details for everyone. With COVID, it’s looking unlikely that we’ll be able to get any games against college programs at this time. That could change and if we get an opportunity we’ll definitely look to add some of those into the schedule.
We also lost 2 teams from the league so we’ve got fewer league games this season than last. The lack of games means we’ll need to be tight on the roster. The schedule this season isn’t a huge commitment and we can’t have guys coming and going as they please. We need guys committed and ideally, we have a squad of 25-30 solid guys for the season. THE GOAL HERE IS TO WIN THE TROPHY, so if it comes down to it we’ll have tryouts and make cuts to put the best team we can on the field.
The schedule is below. Because we have fewer games we are going to lower dues for the season. New players will pay $200 and that will include your two jerseys and shorts. For returning players the cost will be $150. If you pay by the first game, you’ll get a $25 discount so the cost will be $175 & $125 respectively. You can pay by cash, check made out to Tampa Fuego, or Venmo.
If you plan on playing I need you to respond and let us know ASAP so I can start getting a count of how many guys we’re going to have interested in playing and we need to get jerseys ordered depending on how many we have.
